Online Banking Help
Bank-to-Bank Transfer allows you to transfer funds to or from your 1st Source account to the accounts you have
at other financial institutions within the U.S. You must be an owner on each of the accounts in order to make a transfer.
- Log in to Online Banking and select External Transfer from the Move Money tab.
- Select Transfer Between My Accounts.
- Complete one-time registration and accept the Terms & Conditions.
- Add your accounts from your other financial institutions.
The low fees for the use of this convenient service:
- Receive money into your 1st Source account Standard Delivery (3 business days) - FREE
- Receive money into your 1st Source account Next Day Delivery (receive a payment) - $0.95
- Send money from your 1st Source account Standard Delivery (3 business days) - $0.95
- Send money from your 1st Source account Next Day Delivery (send a payment) - $2.95
- Next Day transfers are available on the next business day
- Standard transfers are available within 3 business days.
You may add up to five U.S. checking, savings, and investment accounts can be placed in 1st Source Bank-to-Bank Transfer.
You will be asked to validate that the information you entered actually belongs to you. There are two ways to validate
your account.
1. Provide your log in information for the other financial institution’s website to validate that it is your account. You
will be asked to enter your user ID and password and then click Verify. Once successfully completed, you can
immediately begin scheduling transfers.
2. If you do not have electronic access to your account at the other institution, or if you do not wish to provide your
log in information, you can validate your account using micro deposits. Your account will be tested with small
deposits (of under $0.25) to see if it is open and accepts funds. You will need to wait 1-2 business days for the
deposits to post and then log into your 1st Source Online / Mobile Banking account and finish the validation process.
- In your Online Banking
- Go to Transfer Between My Accounts
- Click Activity to view your transfer history
- Log in to Online Banking, and select External Transfer from the Move Money tab.
- Select Transfer Between My Accounts. Click Setting and select Accounts.
- Click the arrow to expand the account details of the account.
- You can click Delete Account to remove the account or Edit Account to change the account’s nickname.
- If you need to change any other account details you must first delete the account and re-add it as a new account.
- Log in to Online Banking, and select External Transfer from the Move Money tab.
- Select Transfer Between My Accounts.
- Click Setting and select Unsubscribe.
- Select Yes and click Unsubscribe. You can re-enroll at anytime.
Only pending transfers can be canceled or edited.
- Log in to Online Banking, and select External Transfer from the Move Money tab.
- Select Transfer Between My Accounts.
- Go to the Activity tab.
- Click the arrow to expand the account details of the transaction and click Cancel.
- Confirm that you want to cancel the transfer by clicking Yes, Cancel.
The cut-off time for submitting a Standard (3 business days) transfer is midnight Central Standard Time on regular
Business Days.
All transactions submitted after midnight CT, Monday through Friday or on weekends or bank holidays
will be processed the next Business Day.
The cut-off time for submitting a Next Day (1 business day) transfer is 4 pm
ET on regular Business Days. All transactions submitted after 4 pm ET, Monday through Friday or on weekends or bank
holidays will be processed the next Business Day
The maximum daily amount allowed for transfers is the current available balance in the FROM account up to the
daily limit listed in your agreement with us, whichever is less. This includes any single transaction or the total amount
outstanding or “in process.”

Monthly* Limit: $5,000*monthly means a rolling 30-day period and neither a calendar month nor a statement cycle
- Go to Quicken.
- Click the “Gear” at the top of the accounts list.
- Click “Edit” next to each 1st Source account.
- Change the Customer ID to your Online Banking user ID.
- The password you previously set up for Quicken will remain the same. Please note, your Quicken password is different from your Online Banking password. If you need to have your Quicken password reset, please contact Customer Service at 800-513-2360.
- Now go back to the home screen and click the blue refresh button next to the “Gear” that you clicked to edit the ID.



Call into the Customer Service Center at (800) 513-2360 to be set up for Quicken within Online Banking. You will use the same user ID that you use to access Online / Mobile Banking. Customer Service will provide you with a Quicken password that is separate from your Online / Mobile Banking password.
You can access consumer deposit accounts, loan accounts, CDs, IRAs in Online / Mobile Banking. In addition, through Money Management™ you may arrange access to outside accounts like
investments, credit cards and more in Online Banking.
